If your SIM card is a 2G one, please make sure to replace it from your nearest Etisalat store.
If your device has 3G capabilities or above, please make sure you’re not set to the 2G setting.

Voice, SMS and data services (GPRS and EDGE) using 2G technology will no longer be available once we start to phase out.
Any 2G area has already been migrated to 3G, 4G or 5G.
All areas will have 3G and 4G network coverage and 5G where available.
Any device that only works on 2G network will be affected, which is why you should switch. The commonly available 2G devices as mentioned below. These 2G devices will stop working on our network after 2G Shutdown. If you already have one of these devices then please upgrade to 3G / 4G / 5G device and if you are planning to buy new device then please don’t buy any of these devices.
You can get a new device from our online store click here or you can purchase one from your nearest Etisalat store.
Make sure to check your settings to 3G network or above.. You can also check if you have an old 2G SIM card. If you do, you’ll need to replace it at your nearest Etisalat store.
